HCDF 2024

Wednesday 10 July 2024

Around 60 year 10 and year 12 students come along to this year's Heritage and Cultural Diversity Forum on 10 July 2024.

During the day, participants had the opportunity to meet and talk with role models from a variety of backgrounds, professions, and experiences. The aim was to expose, explore, and inspire aspirational futures. Guests included representatives from Norfolk Police, the Black Medical and Scientific Network, With Insight Education, and UEA alumni.

Participants worked collaboratively throughout the day exploring various global issues which culminated in an inspiring showcase of presentations delivered by the year 12 students and screening short 1 minute videos created by the year 10 students.

The year 12s worked in groups to identify an important issue and created an initiative, campaign, or product to address it. The year 10 students spent the day exploring various global issues and were asked the question 'what can you do in your school to make a positive change' and tasked with creating a short 1 minute informative campaign style film.

Our visiting professionals were tasked with choosing the standout presentation and video who were awarded the coveted HCDF Trophy
